Maddy summaryThis resolution creates a 7-member House Study Committee to examine how federal budget changes in the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (H.R. 1) affect Georgia’s state budget and services. The committee, appointed by the Speaker and state auditor, will study impacts on healthcare, education, housing, and infrastructure funding, with a December 1, 2026, deadline to report findings.
