A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 35 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to Georgia Crime Information Center, so as to provide that the Department of Human Services shall be authorized to access restricted and sealed information to conduct employee oversight in certain circumstances; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act creating the Muscogee County School District, approved February 25, 1949 (Ga. L. 1949, p. 1086), as amended, so as to revise how vacancies on said board are filled; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 7 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Department of Economic Development, so as to create the Georgia CHIPS and Advanced Technology Commission; to provide for the purpose, membership, and duties of such commission; to amend Chapter 34 of Title 50, relating to the OneGeorgia Authority, so as to abolish the Georgia CHIPS and Advanced Technology Consortium; to replace the advisory panel and executive committee governing said consortium with the Georgia CHIPS and Advanced Technology Commission; to provide for a definition; to provide for a sunset date; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 3 of Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A., relating to educational programs under the "Quality Basic Education Act," so as to include provisions for students significantly at risk of not achieving grade level reading proficiency or with characteristics of dyslexia; to revise a short title; to repeal Code Section 20-2-159.6, relating to screening for dyslexia and related disorders, training and professional development, pilot program evaluating early intervention, and data reporting; to amend Code Section 20-1-44 of the O.C.G.A., relating to duties and authority relative to the Georgia Council on Literacy, so as to make conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to education, so as to replace the terms "charter system" and "charter systems" with "performance contract system" and "performance contract systems," respectively, wherever such terms appear in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated; to provide an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 51 of the O.C.G.A., relating to general provisions as pertaining to torts, so as to provide for a right of action against any person who knowingly or negligently engages in restricted sexual conduct in the presence of a minor or who knowingly or negligently allows, permits, encourages, or requires a minor to be present while another engages in sexually explicit conduct in the presence of such minor; to provide for the Department of Revenue to fine or suspend or revoke certain business licenses where such establishment admits a minor to be present while another engages in sexually explicit conduct or restricted sexual conduct; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 12 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to offenses against public health and morals, so as to provide for the offense of selling a child for financial gain; to provide for a definition; to provide for a penalty; to provide for limitations; to provide for a cause of action; to amend Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 19 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to adoption, so as to provide for conforming cross references; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 16-12-100 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to sexual exploitation of children, reporting violation, civil forfeiture, and penalties, so as to expand limitations to include the Division of Family and Children Services; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 40-6-291 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to traffic laws applicable to bicycles, operation upon paved shoulder, and signaling of right hand turns, so as to require bicyclists to provide a signal of intention to turn absent certain circumstances; to provide for standards of operation for bicyclists approaching certain intersections with stop signs; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to primaries and elections generally, so as to provide for preferential treatment during advance voting and during certain hours on election day to voters who are blind, deaf, an amputee, pregnant, accompanied by children of five years of age or younger, or accompanied by children with special needs regardless of age; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
