A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 19 of Title 31 and Chapter 50 of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to control of rabies and veterinarians and veterinary technicians, respectively, so as to authorize licensed veterinary technicians under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian to administer antirabies vaccinations to animals required by this state to be inoculated against rabies; to update terminology and make conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 3 of Chapter 4 of Title 26 of the O.C.G.A., relating to practice of pharmacy, so as to authorize pharmacists in certain circumstances to dispense self-administered hormonal contraceptives or administer injectable hormonal contraceptives; to amend Article 1 of Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the O.C.G.A., relating to general provisions regarding insurance generally, so as to provide minimum amounts of certain contraceptives that shall be provided by insurers; to amend Article 1 of Chapter 34 of Title 43 of the O.C.G.A., relating to the Georgia Composite Medical Board, so as to waive civil liability, criminal culpability, and professional discipline under certain circumstances; to amend Article 7 of Chapter 4 of Title 49 of the O.C.G.A., relating to medical assistance generally; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 7 of Chapter 50 of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to telemedicine by veterinarians and veterinary technicians, so as to revise provisions relating to the practice and provision of veterinary teletriage and veterinary telemedicine; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act providing a new charter for the City of Barnesville, approved March 11, 1987 (Ga. L. 1987, p. 3865), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 12, 2005 (Ga. L. 2005, p. 3510), so as to change the description of the election districts for the city council; to provide for definitions and inclusions; to provide for continuation in office of current members; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia, so as to allow all sworn law enforcement officers serving in and the commissioner and deputy commissioner of the Department of Public Safety to be eligible for regular retirement benefits at the age of 55 years, certain disability benefits, and certain provisions for purchasing creditable service; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL To be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 2 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to tax exemptions, so as to provide for a state-wide homestead exemption from ad valorem taxes for certain senior citizens who volunteer with local governments in an amount to be determined by such local governments; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for approval and identification of additional terms and conditions by local governing authorities; to provide for related matters; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, and automatic repeal; to provide for contingent repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 20-3-634 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to savings trust accounts, availability, and terms and provisions under the "Georgia Higher Education Savings Plan Act," so as to raise the maximum amount of contributions allowed per beneficiary for savings trust accounts for higher education expenses; to provide for an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
