A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to motor vehicles and traffic, so as to repeal and reenact implied consent provisions; to provide for chemical testing of saliva to determine the presence of alcohol or another drug for purposes of driving under the influence violations; to revise informed consent provisions to include chemical testing of saliva and to require probable cause for chemical testing of persons involved in certain traffic accidents; to provide for the admissibility of evidence of the refusal of chemical testing of saliva; to provide for a definition; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
