Pub. Rec. and Meetings/Local Government Security; Provides exemption from public records requirements for certain insurance records & critical energy infrastructure information held by local government & records which contain network schematics, hardware & software configurations, or encryption or which identify suspected or confirmed information technology security incidents; provides exemption from public meetings requirements for portions of public meetings which would reveal such information; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemptions; provides statement of public necessity.
Improvements to Real Property; Provides authorized & prohibited activities related to qualifying improvements to real property to be financed by non-ad valorem assessments; provides requirements for local governments, program administrators, & PACE contractors; specifies types of contracts that are unenforceable; requires local governments that have authorized qualifying improvement programs to annually post specified information on their websites.
Natural Gas and Public Utility Petitions for Rate Relief; Revises number of gigawatt hours that certain utilities must sell to petition for rate relief using PSC's proposed agency action procedure.
In-person Visitation; Requires providers to establish visitation policies & procedures within specified timeframe; provides requirements for policies & procedures; authorizes resident, client, or patient to designate essential caregiver; authorizes providers to suspend in-person visits under certain circumstances; requires providers to provide policies & procedures to AHCA; requires providers to make policies & procedures accessible from homepage of their websites.
Construction Defect Claims; Revises time period to bring certain actions; removes chapter 558, F.S., relating to construction defects; provides certain design professionals are not individually liable for certain damages.
