Screening of Summer Camp Personnel; Providing applicability of certain requirements to summer day camps and summer 24-hour camps; providing an exception; requiring such camps to meet specified minimum requirements relating to health, sanitation, and safety and specified child care personnel screening requirements; providing that failure of a camp to comply with the child care personnel screening requirements results in the loss of the camp’s ability to operate; prohibiting the Department of Children and Families from licensing summer day camps and summer 24-hour camps, etc.
Death Benefits; Requiring an employer of a law enforcement, correctional, or correctional probation officer to extend paid health insurance benefits to a surviving spouse and each dependent child if the officer dies as a result of exposure in the line of duty to a pandemic disease that is the subject of a public health emergency; providing retroactive application, etc.
Recovery Residences; Requiring recovery residences to obtain certification by a specified date or before commencing operation; creating a criminal penalty for a person who operates a recovery residence without a certificate of compliance; requiring that recovery residence administrators be certified by a specified date or before beginning employment, etc.
