Deceptive and Unfair Trade Acts or Practices; Providing that persons or entities that take specified actions during a transaction for the sale or lease of goods or services to a consumer commit an unfair or deceptive act or practice, enforceable pursuant to specified provisions, etc.

Elections; Requiring the Florida Commission on Offender Review to develop and maintain a database for a specified purpose; repealing a provision relating to the Office of Election Crimes and Security; authorizing the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to preregister certain individuals to vote; revising the information a third-party voter registration organization is required to provide to the Division of Elections of the Department of State, etc.

Relief of the Estate of Danielle Maudsley by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; Providing for the relief of the Estate of Danielle Maudsley; providing an appropriation to compensate the estate for Ms. Maudsley’s death as a result of the alleged negligence of Trooper Daniel Cole and the Florida Highway Patrol, a division of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; providing a limitation on the payment of compensation and attorney fees, etc. CLAIM WITH APPROPRIATION: $1,750,000

Custodial Interrogations of Minors; Authorizing a law enforcement officer or school employee to conduct a custodial interrogation of a minor only under specified circumstances, etc.

Derelict Vessels; Revising conditions by which an officer of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission or of a law enforcement agency may determine a vessel is at risk of becoming derelict; revising the list of vessels upon which a law enforcement officer must place a certain notice; revising the definition of the term “derelict vessel”, etc.

Health Care Freedom Act; Citing this act as the "Health Care Freedom Act"; repealing provisions relating to the prohibited use of state funds for travel to another state for purpose of abortion services, the prohibited use of state funds for sex-reassignment prescriptions or procedures, and the right of medical conscience of health care providers and health care payors; creating the "Health Care Transparency and Accessibility Act'; revising the timeframe in which a physician may perform a termination of pregnancy; repealing a provision relating to patient immigration status data collection in hospitals, etc.

Historical Records Concerning Enslaved Individuals; Citing this act as the "Stop the Sale of Enslavement Records Act"; prohibiting certain acts relating to the sale and trade of historical records of enslaved individuals in this state; providing exceptions; imposing specified penalties for violations; requiring the Department of State to oversee compliance with the act and to coordinate with law enforcement agencies for a specified purpose, etc.

Florida Museum of Black History; Specifying functions and activities of the Florida Museum of Black History; providing for legislative designation of the permanent and temporary locations of the museum; requiring a specified nonprofit organization to create the exhibits for the temporary museum; establishing a governing board for certain purposes, etc. APPROPRIATION: $1,500,000

Florida Museum of Black History; Providing legislative intent; establishing the Florida Museum of Black History Board of Directors; prohibiting specified members of the board from holding state or local elective office while serving on the board; requiring that the board work jointly with the Foundation for the Museum of Black History, Inc., etc.
