Contract Protection for Elderly Persons and Disabled Adults; Creating the “Elderly and Disabled Adult Contract Protection Act”; requiring that all contracts involving an elderly person or a disabled adult be in that person’s primary language; requiring a contracting party to conduct a comprehensive review of the contract before an elderly person or disabled adult signs the contract; requiring a contracting party to record a video that depicts the contracting process and the elderly person or disabled adult signing the contract, etc.

Florida Museum of Black History; Establishing the Florida Museum of Black History Board of Directors; providing for the membership of the board; prohibiting specified members of the board from holding state or local elective office while serving on the board; requiring that the board work jointly with the Foundation for the Museum of Black History, Inc., etc.

Use of Professional Nursing Titles; Providing that licensed advanced practice registered nurses who hold specified degrees may use titles and abbreviations associated with those degrees in a specified manner; prohibiting such persons from holding themselves out to patients or prospective patients as a doctor in advertising without also clearly denoting their licensed profession, etc.

Educational Scholarship Programs; Creating a categorical fund for implementing the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program; creating the educational enrollment stabilization program to provide supplemental state funds to address changes in full-time equivalent student enrollment; renaming the Hope Scholarship Program as the Hope Program; requiring an eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organization to provide a parent with certain information on scholarship programs; requiring an eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organization to create a single application for all educational scholarship programs, etc.

Prohibited Discrimination Based on Hairstyle; Citing this act as the "Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair Act” or “CROWN Act"; prohibiting discrimination based on protected hairstyle against a student in the K-20 public education system; defining the terms “race” and “protected hairstyle” for purposes of public K-12 nondiscrimination requirements; defining the terms “race” and “protected hairstyle” for purposes of antidiscrimination requirements for private schools participating in the state school choice scholarship program, etc.

Public Records/Petitions for Injunctions for Protection Against Serious Violence by a Known Person; Providing an exemption from public records requirements for petitions, and the contents thereof, for injunctions for protection against serious violence by a known person; providing an exemption from public records requirements for information that can be used to identify a petitioner or respondent in such a petition for an injunction; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.

Doula Support for Healthy Births Pilot Program; Establishing the pilot program in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties for a specified purpose, subject to a specific appropriation in the General Appropriations Act; requiring the Department of Health, in collaboration with its maternal and child health section, to implement and oversee the pilot program; requiring the department to collaborate with specified entities to integrate doula services into existing maternal health programs and facilitate outreach and service delivery; creating the Doula Certification Task Force within the department for a specified purpose, etc.

Injunctions for Protection; Defining the terms “serious violence by a known person” and “serious bodily injury”; creating a cause of action for an injunction for protection in cases of serious violence by a known person; prohibiting the clerk of the court from assessing a fee for the filing of such injunction for protection; requiring the clerk of the court to electronically transmit copies of specified documents within a certain timeframe after a court issues such injunction for protection; requiring law enforcement officers to accept a certified copy of such injunction for protection from the petitioner and immediately serve it upon a respondent, etc.

Impact of Perimenopause and Menopause on Women’s Health; Requiring the Department of Health to establish a perimenopause and menopause policy workgroup; requiring the department, in collaboration with others, to develop and make publicly available on its website information relating to perimenopause and menopause, etc.

Clerks of the Court; Authorizing the cumulative excess of funds to be used in the development of the total combined budgets of the clerks of the court; requiring that a court use certain sale procedures in a foreclosure action; providing that only a clerk of court may conduct a foreclosure sale, etc.
