Combatting Illegal Immigration; Requiring law enforcement agencies to support the enforcement of federal immigration law; requiring, rather than authorizing, law enforcement agencies to transport certain persons securely to a federal facility in this state or to another point of transfer to federal custody outside the jurisdiction of the law enforcement agency, etc.

Combatting Illegal Immigration; Revising the oath a person subscribes to upon registering to vote; providing criminal penalties for unauthorized aliens who willfully swear or affirm to any oath or affirmation in connection with or arising out of voting or elections and for persons who have knowledge that such a registrant is an unauthorized alien, etc.

Combatting Illegal Immigration, Terrorist Organizations, and Transnational Organized Crime and Their Illegal Immigrant Participants; Revising the definition of the term “criminal gang” and defining the term “transnational criminal organization”; authorizing the penalty enhancement of certain offenses upon a finding by the factfinder that the defendant committed the charged offense for specified purposes; specifying that all profits, proceeds, and instrumentalities of hate group activity, terrorist organization activity, and transnational criminal organization activity and all property used or intended or attempted to be used to facilitate such criminal activity are subject to seizure and forfeiture under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act; providing criminal penalties for persons who knowingly initiate, organize, plan, finance, direct, manage, or supervise a hate group’s activities, terrorist organization’s activities, or transnational criminal organization’s activities, etc.

Combatting Illegal Immigration; Prohibiting licensed money services businesses from initiating foreign remittance transfers unless they have verified that the sender is not an unauthorized alien; defining the term “foreign remittance transfer”; requiring the Financial Services Commission to adopt certain rules; requiring that licensees make, keep, and preserve for 5 years records of certain documentation and penalties paid; authorizing the Office of Financial Regulation of the commission to request, and requiring licensees to provide, records of certain documentation, etc.

Combatting Illegal Immigration; Requiring each state and county law enforcement agency, and any other law enforcement agency with more than 25 sworn or certified law enforcement officers, to enter into a written agreement with the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement to participate in a certain immigration program; creating the Unauthorized Alien Transport Program within the Division of Emergency Management, etc. APPROPRIATION: $3,000,000

Expedited Approval of Residential Building Permits; Requiring certain governing bodies, by a date certain, to each create a program to expedite the process for issuing residential building permits before a final plat is recorded; requiring a governing body to create certain processes for purposes of the program; authorizing a governing body to issue addresses and temporary parcel identification numbers for specified purposes; prohibiting a governing body from making substantive changes to a preliminary plat without written consent, etc.

Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases Policy Committee; Citing this act as the “Justo R. Cortes Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Act”; requiring the State Surgeon General to establish a progressive supranuclear palsy and other neurodegenerative diseases policy committee; requiring the Department of Health to provide staff and administrative support to the committee; providing for duties, membership, and meetings of the committee; requiring the State Surgeon General to submit a progress report and a final report by a specified date to the Governor and the Legislature, etc.

Designation of Drug Cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations; Urging the United States Secretary of State to designate drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, etc.

Public Employees; Revising a prohibition on dues to certain mass transit employees; providing that specified employee organizations have the right to have its dues and uniform assessments deducted and collected by the employer from the salaries of those employees who authorized such deduction and collection; revising the application employee organizations must submit to register as certified bargaining agents; providing transitional provisions regarding the renewal of registration of employee organizations during a specified timeframe, etc.

Individuals with Disabilities; Revising provisions related to programs and services provided by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities; requiring the agency, within available resources, to offer voluntary participation care navigation services to clients and their caregivers at specified times; requiring the agency to develop and implement an online application process; revising which types of clients are eligible for an individual support plan; clarifying the timeframe within which a family or individual support plan must be developed, etc. APPROPRIATION: $38,852,223
