Expedited Approval of Residential Building Permits; Requiring certain governing bodies, by a date certain, to each create a program to expedite the process for issuing residential building permits before a final plat is recorded; requiring a governing body to create certain processes for purposes of the program; authorizing a governing body to issue addresses and temporary parcel identification numbers for specified purposes; prohibiting a governing body from making substantive changes to a preliminary plat without written consent, etc.
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Other Neurodegenerative Diseases Policy Committee; Citing this act as the “Justo R. Cortes Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Act”; requiring the State Surgeon General to establish a progressive supranuclear palsy and other neurodegenerative diseases policy committee; requiring the Department of Health to provide staff and administrative support to the committee; providing for duties, membership, and meetings of the committee; requiring the State Surgeon General to submit a progress report and a final report by a specified date to the Governor and the Legislature, etc.
