Schools of Innovation; Establishes Schools of Innovation Program within DOE; provides requirements for program; provides specified flexibility for schools of innovation relating to award of credit & letter grades; requires statewide articulation agreement to include fair & equitable access for students who graduate with certain diplomas & transcripts.
Certificates of Completion; Provides students who have been awarded certificate of completion are eligible to enroll in certain programs; requires identification of such programs by charter technical career centers; & requires students who will be awarded certificate of completion to be advised of specified educational options.
Parole Eligibility; Requires Commission on Offender Review & DOC to jointly administer voluntary long-term inmate program using existing resources; requires program to provide evidence-based programming to inmates; establishes eligibility; provides inmates may be removed from program; provides that successful completion does not guarantee parole.
