Gambling ; Revises provisions related to gambling including the Florida Gaming Control Commission, gaming machines, pari-mutuel permits & permitholders, betting on certain athletic contests, criminal penalties, Internet gambling, Internet sports wagering, manipulation of card games, fantasy sports contests, games of chance, slot machines, & illegal gambling; regulation of certain gaming activities.

Fentanyl Testing; Requires hospitals or hospital-based off-campus emergency departments to test for fentanyl in urine test & perform confirmation test if urine test results are positive for fentanyl; requires specified results to be retained as part of patient's clinical record for certain timeframe.

State Group Insurance Program Coverage of Standard Fertility Preservation Services ; Requires DMS under state group health insurance plan policies to provide coverage of medically necessary expenses relating to standard fertility preservation services; prohibits state group health insurance plans from requiring preauthorization for such services; authorizes maximum benefit provisions & cost-sharing requirements.

Fort Pierce Farms Water Control District, St. Lucie County; Increases maximum annual maintenance tax; limits annual assessment rate increases; requires referendum.

North St. Lucie River Water Control District, St. Lucie County; Revises maintenance tax assessments by district & increases maximum annual maintenance tax levy; limits annual assessment rate increases; requires referendum.

Improving Screening for and Treatment of Blood Clots; Requires hospitals with emergency departments to develop & implement policies & procedures & conduct training for rendering of appropriate medical attention for persons at risk of forming venous thromboembolisms; repeals provisions requiring DOH to contract with private entity to establish statewide venous thromboembolism registry at no cost to state; provides requirements for private entity; requires hospitals with emergency department, beginning on date certain, to regularly report certain information; requires department to require private entity to use nationally recognized platform to collect certain data; requires private entity to provide regular reports to department on such data; requires agency, by date certain, to provide to Governor & Legislature specified report; provides requirements for such report; provides applicability; revises requirements for certain annual inservice training for certified nursing assistants employed by nursing home facilities; revises training requirements for certain certified nursing assistants who may be delegated tasks in nursing home facilities; provides legislative findings; requires assisted living facilities to provide a consumer information pamphlet containing specified information to residents.

Nursing Education Programs; Revision to application requirements for nursing education program approval; requiring the Board of Nursing to deny an application under certain circumstances; authorizing the board to revoke a program's approval under certain circumstances; authorizing the board to investigate the nature of an adverse action and take specified actions; revising requirements for annual reports program directors of approved programs are required to submit to the board; providing for the termination of a program's approval, and discipline of its program director, under certain circumstances; revising remediation procedures for approved programs with graduate passage rates that do not meet specified requirements; deleting a provision authorizing the board to extend a program's probationary status; revising requirements for certain nursing education programs placed on probationary status; providing requirements for programs with certain graduate passage rates.

Statewide Study on Automation and Workforce Impact; Requires bureau within DOC to study economic impact of automation, artificial intelligence & robotics on employment in state; specifies contents of study; requires bureau to consult with specified entities in conducting study; requires bureau to submit report to Governor & Legislature by specified date; requires bureau to conduct this study at specified intervals of time.

Parkinson's Disease; Establishes the Consortium for Parkinson's Disease Research within the University of South Florida; establishes the Parkinson's Disease Research Board; requires the board to direct the operations of the consortium and to annually adopt a plan for Parkinson's disease research; provides duties of the consortium director; provides research requirements for the plan.

Florida Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases; Establishes Florida Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases within FSU College of Medicine; & provides goals of institute; establishes Sunshine Genetics Pilot Program & Sunshine Genetics Consortium.
