Central Service Technician Services; Defines terms "central service technician" & "health care practitioner"; authorizes licensed hospitals & ambulatory surgical centers to employ or otherwise retain services of central service technician only if he or she meets specified criteria; requires central service technicians who do not meet specified criteria to obtain certain certification within specified timeframe as condition of continued employment; requires central service technicians to complete continuing education as condition of continued employment; requires hospitals & ambulatory surgical centers to, upon written request of central service technician, verify in writing technician's dates of employment or contract period with facility.

Insulin Administration by Direct Support Professionals and Relatives ; Defines "direct-support professional"; authorizes direct-support professionals & relatives of clients in group home facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities to administer insulin as prescribed to client if specified conditions are met; provides group home facilities, direct-support professionals, & relatives of clients with immunity from civil liability for damages & civil & criminal penalties; authorizes unlicensed direct service provider to supervise self-administration of insulin & epinephrine through use of specified devices.
