Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia Training for Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers; Requires FDLE to establish online, continued employment training component relating to Alzheimer's disease & related forms of dementia; requires training component be developed with DOEA; specifies instruction requirements for training; authorizes completion of such training to count toward certain requirement.
Online Protections for Minors; Requiring social media platforms to prohibit certain minors from creating new accounts; requiring social media platforms to terminate certain accounts and provide additional options for termination of such accounts; providing conditions under which social media platforms are required to prohibit certain minors from entering into contracts to become account holders; authorizing the Department of Legal Affairs to bring actions under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act for knowing or reckless violations; authorizing the department to issue and enforce civil investigative demands under certain circumstances, etc.
Charitable Organizations; Prohibits solicitation or acceptance of contributions or anything of value from foreign sources of concern; requires DACS to create Honest Services Registry, publish registry on its website, & adopt rules; provides requirements for charitable organizations to be included on registry.
Civil Liability for the Wrongful Death of an Unborn Child; Revises definition of term "survivors" to include parents of unborn child; provides definition for term "unborn child"; prohibits right of action against mother for wrongful death of unborn child; authorizes parents of unborn child to recover certain damages.
Estoppel Certificates; Requires community association to annually establish authority to charge fee for preparation & delivery of estoppel certificate; prohibits association from directly or indirectly charging fees that are not authorized by law for estoppel certificate; specifies methods for paying fee for preparation & delivery of estoppel certificate.
Individuals with Disabilities; Requires APD to develop & implement electronic application process; requires agency to maintain printable paper application on its website &, upon request, provide printed paper application to an applicant; requires agency to provide applicants with specified information upon receipt of application for services; revises timeframes within which agency must make eligibility determinations for services; lowers age that caregiver must be for individual to be placed in certain preenrollment category.
