Nursing Education Programs ; Revises application requirements for nursing education program approval; authorizes Board of Nursing to revoke program's approval; revises requirements for annual reports program directors of approved programs are required to submit to board; provides for revocation of program's approval & discipline of its program director; revises remediation procedures; removes provision authorizing board to extend program's probationary status; authorizes agents of DOH to conduct onsite evaluations & inspections; authorizes DOH to collect evidence as part of such evaluations & inspections; removes provision authorizing approved nursing education programs to request extension to meet board's accreditation requirements.

Residential Swimming Pool Requirements; Requires swimming pools located on residential real property that is transferred or sold on or after specified date to meet certain pool safety & pool barrier requirements; requires home inspectors to report violations of law to local enforcement agency.

Dependent Children; Requires DCF & each community-based care lead agency to coordinate with certain organizations & meet quarterly for specified purpose; authorizes such meeting to be in person or via teleconference or other electronic means; requires such meetings to have formal agenda; requires department & each community-based care lead agency to make certain information available on their respective websites; requires, beginning in specified year, department & each community-based care lead agency to publish on their respective websites biannual report containing specified information.

Civil Liability for the Wrongful Death of an Unborn Child; Revises definition of term "survivors" to include parents of unborn child; provides definition for term "unborn child"; prohibits right of action against mother for wrongful death of unborn child or against health care provider for lawful medical care provided in certain circumstances; authorizes parents of unborn child to recover certain damages; prohibits recovery of certain damages if decedent is unborn child.

Designation of the State Birds; Designates American flamingo as official state bird and the Florida scrub-jay as the official state songbird; provides that such designation supersedes designation of mockingbird as official Florida state bird.

Repair of Mobility Devices; Requires original equipment manufacturers to make available documentation, embedded software, firmware, parts, & tools required to service mobility devices & parts of such devices; requires original equipment manufacturers of mobility devices with electronic security locks to make available any special documentation, embedded software, firmware, parts, & tools required to access & reset locks when disabled in course of service; provides that original equipment manufacturers are not required to divulge trade secrets; limits liability of original equipment manufacturers & authorized repair providers.

Medicaid Provider Networks ; Requires AHCA to establish network adequacy standards for prepaid dental plans; provides requirements for such standards; requires Medicaid managed care plan provider network databases to identify whether providers are accepting new patients; requires prepaid dental plans to to provide specified information on online provider database.

Recovery of Damages for Medical Negligence Resulting in Death; Removes provision precluding certain persons from recovering damages for medical negligence resulting in death.

Public Accountancy; Authorizes Board of Accountancy to competitively procure contracted services with certain corporations not for profit for performance of certain duties assigned to Division of Certified Public Accounting of DBPR; authorizes board to rescind such contracted services at any time by majority vote; revises education & work experience requirements for certified public accountant license; directs board to prescribe specified coursework for licensure; revises requirements for licensure of international applicants; removes obsolete language; revises requirements for approval of providers who administer continuing education on ethics for certified public accountants; requires board to give preference to certain providers; revises requirements for certified public accountants licensed in another state or territory of United States to practice in this state without obtaining license.
