Nonpublic Religious Postsecondary Educational Institutions; Removes religious colleges from list of institutions specified as not being under jurisdiction or purview of Commission for Independent Education; provides requirements for nonpublic religious postsecondary educational institutions relating to licensure, Commission for Independent Education, & certain religious nongovernmental education associations that cooperate with commission for specified purposes.
Asbestos and Silica Claims; Revises information required to be included in sworn information form for asbestos or silica claims; specifies such form is inadmissible in evidence at trial; requires courts to dismiss certain claims upon motion by defendant; requires motions to dismiss to include certain certifications.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Training for Law Enforcement Officers; Provides requirements for training officers regarding individuals with autism spectrum disorder; requires Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission to adopt rules requiring such training as part of continued employment training.
Organ Donation; Provides administrative leave for certain employees; requires certain locations to display information about organ donation & registration; requires courses include information about organ donation; requires link to statewide organ donation registry be included on specified websites; prohibits insurance policies from limiting or excluding coverage for living organ donors.
Autonomous Practice for Certified Psychiatric Nurses; Authorizes advanced practice registered nurse who is certified as psychiatric nurse practitioner to engage in autonomous practice under certain circumstances.
Environmental Management; Requires that nonindustrial stormwater management systems be designed with side slopes that meet certain minimum design requirements; provides exception; superseding certain side slope rules; revises construction relating to causes of action for damages to real or personal property directly resulting from certain discharges or other conditions of pollution.
Voting Systems; Authorizes counties to count ballots by hand at precinct level; prohibits DOS from approving certain voting systems; requires DOS to make certain information & materials available to public on its website; deletes public records exemption that applies to certain software on file with DOS; provides that software is public record & must be provided at actual cost of duplication.
Protection of Historic Monuments and Memorials; Prohibits certain acts concerning historic monuments & memorials on public property; provides for standing to bring civil actions; provides civil penalties for officials who engage in certain actions; provides local government is liable in certain instances; requires state to restore or relocate monument or memorial in certain circumstances; prohibits distribution of funding to local governments until they reimburse state; authorizes removal or temporary relocation of monument or memorial in certain instances provided certain requirements are met; specifies certain duties of Division of Historical Resources & Department of Veterans' Affairs.
