Ponte Vedra SRA1A Corridor Intersection Improvements; Provides an appropriation for the Ponte Vedra SRA1A Corridor Intersection Improvements. APPROPRIATION: $4,750,000
Public Accountancy; Authorizes vendor to complete performance audit of program associated with the proposed surtax; requires certain applicants to not be licensed in any state or territory in order to be licensed by endorsement; provides license renewal requirements for nonresident licensees; requires majority of the hours required for continuing education include specific content; authorizes certain Florida certified public accountants to apply to DBPR to have their license placed in a retired status; provides retired licensees are not required to maintain continuing education requirements.
Recovery Care Services; Provides for licensure of recovery care centers by AHCA; provides criteria for admission of patients to recovery care centers; requires centers to have specified protocols; prohibits centers from providing services to children until standards are established; requires AHCA to adopt minimum standards for centers; directs AHCA to enforce specified provisions of Florida Building Code applicable to recovery care centers; exempts centers from specified minimum licensure requirements.
Statewide Office of Resiliency; Establishes office within EOG; provides for appointment of Chief Resilience Officer by Governor; creates Statewide Sea-Level Rise Task Force within office; requires DEP to serve as task force's contract administrator; requires Environmental Regulation Commission to take certain action on task force's recommendations; provides for task force repeal; provides appropriation. Coordinated Specialty Care Programs; Defines term "coordinated specialty care program"; revises application criteria for Criminal Justice, Mental Health, & Substance Abuse Reinvestment Grant Program to include support for coordinated specialty care programs; requires DCF to include specified information regarding such programs in its annual assessment of behavioral health services; provides that coordinated system of care includes coordinated specialty care programs; requires such programs to submit certain data to department.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health; Provides additional duties for Statewide Office for Suicide Prevention & Suicide Prevention Coordinating Counsel; revises composition of council; expands definition of "mental illness" to provide certain exclusions; revises entities that are exempt from certain licensing requirements; authorizes jails to share medical information pertaining to specified defendants to DCF; requires maintenance of psychotropic medications to specified defendants.
Kindness Week; Designates February 16-20, 2020, as "Kindness Week" in State of Florida.
