Student Transportation Safety; Authorizes contracts for school bus infraction detection systems which authorize private vendor or manufacturer to receive share of revenue; revises requirements for signage posted on rear of school bus; requires law enforcement to send notice of violation to registered owner of motor vehicle involved in violation; requires court to determine whether violation has occurred; requires court to uphold violation if violation has occurred and require petitioner to pay penalties & costs; revises required uses for civil penalties assessed & collected for violations; prohibits use of system for remote surveillance; revises purposes for which video & images may be used; requires that civil penalties be remitted to school district.

Reclassification of Criminal Penalties

Reclassification of Criminal Penalties; Requires reclassification of penalty for commission of new felony committed by person who unlawfully reenters United States & while remaining unlawfully present after having been deported or removed from United States under federal immigration proceedings for committing felony, or who has departed United States while such order of deportation or removal was outstanding; authorizes reclassification of penalty for any felony or misdemeanor offenses if commission of such offense is for specified purpose; provides reclassification of such offenses.

Parenting and Time-sharing of Minor Children; Removes requirement for unanticipated change in circumstances in order to modify parenting plan or time-sharing schedule; creates rebuttable presumption that equal time-sharing is in best interests of child; provides standard of evidence to rebut such presumption; requires court to evaluate certain factors & make specific written findings of fact when creating or modifying time-sharing schedule; authorizes modification of time-sharing schedule.
