Japanese Business, Trade, and Cultural Cooperation; Recognizes importance of Japanese diplomatic, business, & cultural ties with State of Florida & diplomatic, cultural, & business ties with Japan.
Public Lodging and Public Food Service Establishments; Revises notification requirements for removing guests from public lodging & public food service establishments; requires public food service establishments that charge operations charge to provide specified notice; prohibits public food service establishments that charge operations charge that is used to compensate employees from also charging automatic gratuity; requires bills & receipts to contain certain information; prohibits private cause of action.
Anaphylaxis in Public Schools; Requires each district school board to ensure that certain emergency action plans are effective & that school personnel & employees & contracted personnel of before-school & after-school programs receive certain training relating to allergic reactions & anaphylaxis; & requires that at least one member of school personnel with such training be on school grounds for specified purposes.
Postjudgment Execution Proceedings Relating to Terrorism; Provides additional requirements for postjudgment execution proceedings to enforce judgments entered against terrorist parties under specified provisions; provides retroactive application of specified provisions.
Regulation of Presidential Libraries; Prohibits counties, municipalities, or other political subdivisions from adopting or enforcing certain local ordinances, regulations, rules, or policies regarding presidential libraries unless authorized by federal law.
Relief/Estate of Peniel Janvier/City of Miami Beach; Provides for appropriation to compensate Estate of Peniel Janvier for damages sustained as result of negligence of City of Miami Beach; provides limitation on payment of compensation & attorney fees.
Gulf of America; Requires state agencies to update geographic materials to reflect new federal designation of "Gulf of Mexico" as "Gulf of America"; & requires instructional materials & library media center collections adopted or acquired by certain entities on or after specified date to reflect new federal designation of "Gulf of Mexico" as "Gulf of America".
Tax Exemption on Sales of Indigenous Arts and Crafts; Creates exemption from sales tax for sales of indigenous products; requiring the Department of Commerce to maintain a specified registry.
Veterans; Revises provisions related to veterans including veterans' history program, Florida Is For Veterans, Inc., Veterans Employment & Training Services Program, grants, workforce training & recruitment, exemption from fees, advisory council on brain & spinal cord injuries, & required instruction on Veterans' Day & Memorial Day. Community Associations; Provides requirements & penalties for community association managers & management firms relating to conflicts of interest; revises & provides provisions relating to condominium & cooperative associations, including milestone inspections, reporting requirements, financial reports, unit owner & board meetings, director education, criminal activity & penalties, official records, legal actions, electronic voting, & notices; requires Division of Florida Condominiums, Time Shares, & Mobile Homes to submit report to Governor & Legislature & create database.
