Tax Exemption for Affordable Housing; Authorizes counties & municipalities to adopt ordinances to grant ad valorem tax exemptions to property owners whose properties are used for governmental or public purpose of providing affordable housing; provides conditions for such exemptions; specifies procedures that apply if property is transferred to a person for other purposes; specifies exemption improperly granted by property appraiser will not be assessed penalty or interest.

Tax Discount Percentage Rates; Revising the tax discount percentage rates for all taxes assessed on the county tax rolls, etc.

Management of Single-use Plastic Products; Requiring the Department of Environmental Protection to update its 2010 retail bag report at specified intervals; authorizing certain coastal communities to establish pilot programs to regulate the use of single-use plastic products; providing for the adoption and expiration of the ordinances required to establish the pilot programs; directing participating municipalities to collect data and submit reports to the municipal governing bodies and the department, etc.

Native Language Assessments in Public Schools; Requiring that a high school equivalency examination administered in any language other than English be given the same weight as a high school equivalency examination administered in English; requiring written portions of the coordinated screening and progress monitoring program for students in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program through grade 3 to be in specified native languages; revising requirements of the statewide, standardized assessment program to include native language versions of related assessments, etc.

Florida Teachers Classroom Supply Assistance Program; Authorizing Florida Teachers Classroom Supply Assistance Program funds to be used to purchase certain classroom equipment and personal protective equipment, etc.

Community Associations; Requiring the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to establish a searchable database by a specified date which contains specified information regarding each condominium association in this state; requiring the division to establish a searchable database by a specified date which contains specified information regarding each homeowners’ association in this state, etc.
