Heat Illness Prevention; Requires employers to implement outdoor heat exposure safety program that has been approved by specified departments; specifies requirements for safety program; provides responsibilities for employers & employees; requires specified annual training on heat illness & providing requirements for such training; requires DACS, in conjunction with DOH, to adopt specified rules.

Elections; Requires Florida Commission on Offender Review to develop & maintain database containing certain information; repeals provisions relating to Office of Election Crimes & Security & prohibition on use of private funds for election-related expenses; prohibits certain governmental entities from taking certain actions relating to elections; establishes Florida Voting Rights Act Commission; requires commission to designate certain languages for which assistance in voting & elections must be provided in certain circumstances; requires commission to enter into agreement to create Florida Voting & Elections Database & Institute; provides that enactment or implementation of certain policies by covered jurisdiction is subject to preclearance by commission; authorizes court to order certain appropriate remedies; authorizes certain persons to register to vote & immediately thereafter cast vote in certain circumstances authorizes DHSMV to preregister certain individuals to vote; revises provisions relating to third-party voter registration organizations & vote-by-mail ballots; establishes General Election Day as paid holiday; repeals prohibition on ranked-choice voting; authorizes certain persons to file certain civil actions.

Compulsory School Attendance; Revises required age for compulsory school attendance from 16 to 18 years of age; removes requirement that student's parent sign declaration of intent to terminate school enrollment; removes requirement that school district notify student's parent upon receipt of such declaration; & provides that adult education high school equivalency programs meet specified attendance requirements.

Tax Exemption for Disabled Ex-servicemembers; Increases the value of a certain tax exemption.

Sickle Cell Care Management and Treatment Education; Requires specified continuing education courses for licensure & certification renewal for specified health care professions; provides requirements for such courses.

Exceptional Students and Video Cameras in Public Schools; Revising provisions relating to exceptional student education; removes references to Video Cameras in Public School Classrooms Pilot Program.

Court Cost for Crime Stoppers Programs; Increases court cost assessed for criminal convictions that is used for crime stoppers programs.

Child Water Safety Requirements; Provides certain organizations that care for or supervise children must require parents or legal guardians to attest to certain information in writing before taking children to public swimming pools; provides requirements for such organizations when they conduct certain activities in public swimming pools; provides for disciplinary action against such organizations for certain violations.

Youth Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation Pilot Program; Establishes Youth Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation Pilot Program within the Community School Grant Program; provides requirements for program.

Direct Filing of an Information; Prohibits holding child transferred to adult court for criminal prosecution in adult facility before hearing; provides exception; removes provisions concerning involuntary mandatory waivers; removes provisions allowing discretionary waivers of children 14 or 15 years of age for specified offenses; removes references to state attorney's discretion to direct file juvenile; revises discretionary direct file criteria; requires court to advise child & his or her parent or guardian of child's right to hearing after information transferring child to adult court is filed; authorizes request for evidentiary hearing; requires hearing within certain time; requires judge to consider specified information & factors; authorizes judge to consider certain reports; provides for continued jurisdiction; requires adult court's order to include certain findings.
