Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Dealers; Redefining the term “line-make vehicle”; revising a prohibition against certain applicants and licensees competing with franchised motor vehicle dealers in this state, etc.
Vacation Rentals; Preempting the regulation of vacation rentals to the state; prohibiting a local law, ordinance, or regulation from allowing or requiring inspections or licensing of public lodging establishments, including vacation rentals, or public food service establishments; requiring licenses issued by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to be displayed conspicuously to the public inside the licensed establishment, etc.
Fees/Pet Store License; Requiring an initial or renewal pet store license application to be accompanied by a specified nonrefundable license fee per licensed location, etc.
Education; Requiring the Department of Education to maintain a disqualification list that includes the identities of certain persons; requiring district school boards to investigate certain complaints and report certain results of such investigations to the department; prohibiting an individual who is on the disqualification list from being employed by a charter school or serving as a member of a charter school governing board; requiring certain private schools to adopt policies establishing standards of ethical conduct for certain employees, etc.
