Recognizing Veteran Suicide; Urges Congress to recognize epidemic of suicide among veterans & fully fund suicide prevention efforts by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Florida Kidcare Program Eligibility; Increases income eligibility threshold for coverage under Florida Kidcare program; requires applicant seeking coverage under program to provide specified documentation under certain circumstances; requires AHCA to examine graduated family contribution rates for newly qualifying families under program; requires agency to increase income eligibility threshold for coverage under program each fiscal year until meeting specified income threshold; authorizes agency to seek federal waiver approval or submit state plan amendments as necessary.

Optional Payments for Medical Assistance and Related Services; Extends Medicaid eligibility to specified individuals.

Photographic Enforcement of School Zone Speed Limits; Authorizes county or municipality to contract with vendor to install cameras in school speed zones to enforce speed limits; provides civil penalty for violation found through recording of photographic images; provides for disposition & use of funds; provides for determination of liability; provides nonapplication of violation to driver license points assessment, conviction, driving record, or provision of motor vehicle insurance coverage; requires referral to DHSMV resulting in prohibition of motor vehicle registration renewal & transfer of title; provides for removal of penalties.

Key Biscayne Sargassum Removal; Provides an appropriation for the Key Biscayne Sargassum Removal. APPROPRIATION: $500,000

Law Enforcement and Correctional Officer Accreditation and Standards; Requires Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission to adopt rules prohibiting law enforcement officers, correctional officers, or correctional probation officers from using specified techniques; requires commission to adopt rules requiring employing agencies to report information related to use of such techniques; requires commission to provide specified data regarding final commission orders to National Decertification Index; requires commission to establish & maintain standards for instruction of officers in specified subjects; provides minimum required standards for deescalation training; requires that by specified date each law enforcement agency adopt certain policy; requires commission to create & publish it on its website model written policy; requires every officer receive minimum number of hours of deescalation training.

K9s For Warriors; Provides an appropriation for the K9s For Warriors. APPROPRIATION: $750,000

Medical Marijuana Public Employee Protection; Prohibits employers from taking adverse personnel action against employees or applicants who are qualified patients using medical marijuana; requires employers to provide written notice of employee or applicant's right to explain positive test result for marijuana; provides procedures for if employee or applicant tests positive for marijuana; provides cause of action & damages.
