Delegation of the Administration of Prescription Medications; Requires nurse registry that authorizes registered nurse to delegate tasks to certified nursing assistant or home health aide to ensure certain requirements are met; authorizes registered nurse to delegate administration of duties for care of patient of nurse registry or county detention facility; authorizes certified nursing assistants to administer certain medication to patients of nurse registries or county detention facilities.

Additional Staffing for the Florida Council on the Social Status of Black Men &Boys; Provides an appropriation for the Additional Staffing for the Florida Council on the Social Status of Black Men &Boys. APPROPRIATION: $259,500

Direct Filing of an Information; Prohibits child who has been transferred to adult court for criminal prosecution pursuant to direct file from being held in adult jail before hearing; removes references to state attorney's discretion; revises discretionary direct file criteria; requires court to advise child & his or her parent or guardian of child's right to due process evidentiary hearing; authorizes child or child's parent or guardian to request hearing; requires judge to conduct hearing & consider specified information & factors; authorizes judge to consider certain reports; provides for continued jurisdiction; requires adult court to make findings.

Recovery of Damages in Claims for Medical Negligence; Authorizes parents of adult children to recover damages for mental pain and suffering in medical negligence suits.

Summer Youth Service Learning; Creates summer youth service learning program; provides SBE, DOE, employer, student, & program requirements; provides for funding & rulemaking.

In-person Visitation; Requires providers to establish visitation policies & procedures within specified timeframe; provides requirements for policies & procedures; authorizes resident, client, or patient to designate essential caregiver; authorizes providers to suspend in-person visits under certain circumstances; requires providers to provide policies & procedures to AHCA; requires providers to make policies & procedures accessible from homepage of their websites.

County and Municipal Detention Facilities; Creates Florida Model Jail Standards Working Group; specifies municipal or county detention facility shall adopt Florida Model Jail Standards; provides requirements for jail standards; requires inspection; prohibits any person in charge of detention facility from refusing inspection; provides financial penalties for persons in charge of detention facilities who refuse to allow inspections, or for facilities found to be noncompliant with jail standards; requires noncompliant detention facilities to cease operations & contract with other detention facilities.

Education for Student Inmates; Authorizes DOC & each county to contract with Florida College System institutions for education services for student inmates; authorizes use of state funds for education of state inmates who have specified amount of time remaining on their sentences.

Ukraine; A resolution condemning the invasion of Ukraine and supporting the people of Ukraine.
