This resolution recognizes August 17, 2023, as "National Nonprofit Day" in Delaware.
This Resolution designates July 26, 2023, as "Americans with Disabilities Act Day" in the State of Delaware.
This resolution requests that the Department of Natural Resources pause its ongoing process of promulgating California ACCII regulations. The Department is requested to determine the fiscal impacts of imposing the ACCII regulations on Delawareans. A further request is made that the Department evaluate the approach taken by Pennsylvania and Colorado, two states that, like Delaware, have chosen to follow California vehicle emissions regulations under Section 177 of the U.S. Clean Air Act. The Department is also requested to evaluate the protocol observed by 33 other states in following the EPA vehicle emission regulations. A report is requested to be provided to the General Assembly by March 15, 2024. Until the delivery of the report, it is requested no further action be taken towards promulgating the proposed ACCII regulations.
Section 1 of this Act increases the standard deduction for personal income tax purposes of resident individuals and spouses of this State for tax years beginning after December 31, 2023. Section 3 of this Act increases the monetary filing thresholds resulting from the increases the standard deduction under Section 1. Sections 2 and 4 of this Act increase the refundable earned income tax credit to 7.5% of the corresponding federal earned income tax credit for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2023, and clarify that a previously enacted refundable earned income tax credit of 4.5% of the corresponding federal earned income tax credit took effect for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2021.
Currently, an application for a new license to purchase for resale of alcoholic liquor for transfer of an existing license, or for a substantive change to a license or licensed premise, shall be filed with the Commission. This Act amends the definition of "substantive change" to include live music with or without the use of PA systems; and to include external speakers for "piped-in" or pre-recorded music.
This concurrent resolution recognizes June 25, 2023 as World Vitiligo Day in Delaware.
This Act amends the Senior Tax Credit to $1000 for Real Property valued less than $500,000, $500 for Real Property valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This Credit will not be extended to Real Property valued above $1,000,000.
