SB 171: Relating to the State Health Officer; to amend Section 22-2-8, Code of Alabama 1975, to revise appointment of the State Health Officer; to require certain emergency rules, orders, or directives issued by the State Health Officer to be approved by the Governor and a copy filed with the Secretary of State before the emergency rule, order, or other directive has the full force and effect of law; and to make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.

SB 243: Relating to the One-Call Notification System; to amend Section 37-15-4.1, Code of Alabama 1975, to authorize a design professional to hire a third-party locator, at the expense of the underground facility operator, after two design or survey locate requests have been submitted and expired without response by the operator.
SB 238: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 2022, to require local boards of education to adopt policies requiring each K-12 public school to broadcast or sanction the performance of The Star-Spangled Banner at least once per week during school hours.
SB 48: Relating to individual income taxes; to amend Section 40-18-5, Code of Alabama 1975, to phase-in a reduction in the top tax rate from five percent to four and ninety-five hundredths percent.
SB 350: Relating to the practice of Massage Therapy; to add Chapter 43A to Title 34 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to create the State Board of Licensure for Massage Therapists in the office of the Secretary of State; to provide for the membership of the new board and duties of the Secretary of State and that board; to provide for the transfer of the powers, duties, rights, records, and property of the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy to the State Board of Licensure for Massage Therapists and the Chief Examiner of Public Accounts temporarily during the transition; to preserve existing regulatory law; to extend the expiration date of licenses issued by the former board until the membership of the new board is established; to repeal Chapter 43 of Title 34, Code of Alabama 1975, providing for the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy; and in connection therewith would have as its purpose or effect the requirement of a new or increased expenditure of local funds within the meaning of Section 111.05 of the Constitution of Alabama of 2022.
SB 148: Relating to guardians ad litem; to amend Section 15-12-21, Code of Alabama 1975; to increase the compensation for an attorney appointed to serve as a guardian ad litem in certain juvenile cases.
SB 348: Relating to state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes; to exempt food pantries in Cullman County from all state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes for certain purchases.
SB 307: Relating to the Retirement Systems of Alabama; to amend Sections 16-25-26 and 36-27-8.2, Code of Alabama 1975, to remove certain conditions under which an elected official who has retired from the Teachers' Retirement System and the Employees' Retirement System may serve for compensation in another elected public office without suspension of retirement benefits.
SB 220: Relating to pharmacists; to amend Section 27-45A-7, Code of Alabama 1975; to authorize a pharmacist to decline to fill a prescription if the pharmacist will be reimbursed for the drug in an amount that is less than the pharmacist's acquisition cost; and to prohibit a pharmacist from being restricted from discussing matters relating to a pharmacy claim with a patient.
