HB 34: Relating to crimes and offenses; to amend Section 13A-11-61.1, Code of Alabama 1975; to provide that it is unlawful to discharge a firearm on school property; to provide criminal penalties; to provide for exceptions; and in connection therewith would have as its purpose or effect the requirement of a new or increased expenditure of local funds within the meaning of Section 111.05 of the Constitution of Alabama of 2022.

HB 356: Relating to law enforcement training; to require each law enforcement officer to undergo training related to individuals with certain sensory needs or invisible disabilities every other year; and to provide that the Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and Training Commission shall collaborate with a nonprofit company to provide the training.
HB 476: Relating to Covington County; to amend Section 45-20-232, Code of Alabama 1975, to further provide for pistol permit fees; and to provide for lifetime permits.
