HB 2292: Judicial training; law related to rights of persons of legitimate interest in custody.

Directs the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia to require that all juvenile and domestic relations district court judges receive training, at least once during each six-year judicial term, on the rights of persons of legitimate interest in child custody and visitation proceedings.

HB 2373: Window tinting; vehicles used by private investigators, bail bondsmen, bail enforcement agents.

Allows licensed private investigators, licensed bail bondsmen, and licensed bail enforcement agents to apply tinting films to darken certain windows of vehicles used in the course of business to a minimum of 20 percent light transmittance from current minimums of 50 or 35 percent, depending on the window.

HB 1395: Same-sex marriages; civil unions.

Repeals the statutory prohibitions on same-sex marriages and civil unions or other arrangements between persons of the same sex purporting to bestow the privileges and obligations of marriage. These prohibitions are no longer valid due to the United States Supreme Court decision in
