SRES 412: An executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.

This Senate resolution (SRES 412) authorizes the Senate to consider 108 executive nominations together as a single group during an Executive Session, rather than individually. It directly affects the Senate's procedural process for confirming appointments to federal positions, including ambassadors, agency heads (like the SEC, EPA, and Department of Labor roles), and U.S. Attorneys. The resolution streamlines the confirmation process by grouping these nominations under one motion, without altering the substantive content of the appointments themselves. This is a procedural measure focused on Senate efficiency, not policy changes.
