SB 2186: Courts, General Sessions - As enacted, specifies that in a county with more than one general sessions judge in which the judicial commissioners are supervised by the general sessions judges, the management and supervision of any judicial commissioners appointed pursuant to this section must rotate between the general sessions judges having criminal jurisdiction in the county on an annual basis. - Amends TCA Title 16; Title 17 and Title 40.

SB 2410: Criminal Offenses - As enacted, establishes an offense for a person, on behalf of a debt collector or inbound telemarketer service, to knowingly cause a caller identification service to transmit misleading or inaccurate caller identification information to a subscriber with the intent to defraud or cause harm to another person or to wrongfully obtain anything of value, rather than with the intent to induce the subscriber to answer. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 47, Chapter 18.

SB 2017: Statutes of Limitations and Repose - As enacted, requires causes of action for unpaid wages for hours worked, overtime, minimum wage, salary, bonuses, commissions, or other compensation owed to an employee or independent contractor, including ones for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, or quantum merit for unpaid wages for hours worked, overtime, minimum wage, salary, bonuses, commissions, or other compensation, to be commenced within three years from the accruing of the cause of action. - Amends TCA Title 28.

SB 1673: Mental Illness - As enacted, requires a qualified mental health professional or behavior analyst to warn or protect an identified victim or group of people when the professional or analyst determines that a service recipient has communicated an intent for actual threat of bodily harm; requires the professional or behavior analyst to report such threat; provides immunity from civil, criminal, and regulatory liability for a professional or analyst who takes reasonable action to warn or protect identified victims or groups and to report such threat. - Amends TCA Section 33-3-206.
