HB 1801: Human Rights - As introduced, requires adult cabarets and adult-oriented establishments to post a notice on the inside and outside of each bathroom door and door used by customers or patrons to enter or exit the facility that provides the contact information to the National Human Trafficking Hotline; requires the department of human services to update the notice by rule if the contact information becomes obsolete. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 51, Part 14.

HB 1709: Local Education Agencies - As introduced, authorizes LEAs and public charter schools to reimburse teachers for child care expenses paid by the teacher each month for the teacher's dependent child to receive child care services through a child care program certified by the department of education or a child care agency licensed by the department of human services; requires, subject to appropriation, this state to reimburse LEAs and public charter schools a portion of any such monthly reimbursement amount paid by the LEA or public charter school. - Amends TCA Title 49.

HB 1235: Law Enforcement - As introduced, prohibits a law enforcement agency from engaging in law enforcement activities which interfere with any person's First Amendment rights, engaging in First Amendment-related intelligence, or maintaining personal information about any person for the purpose of First Amendment-related intelligence unless the information is collected in the course of a lawful investigation of criminal conduct and is relevant to such investigation. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8; Title 10 and Title 38.
