SB 2282: Medical Occupations - As introduced, requires the department of health to reimburse an applicant's first attempt fee for taking the NREMT examination, a condition for an initial EMT or paramedic license to be issued, so long as the applicant has current or pending employment as an EMT, and has made a formal written request to the department. - Amends TCA Title 68.

SB 1937: Labor and Workforce Development, Dept. of - As introduced, creates a high-value workforce readiness board that is administratively attached to the department to identify high-demand fields in this state and qualified institutions that offer workforce training programs in high-demand fields; creates a high-value workforce readiness grant program to be administered by the department to encourage individuals to pursue credentials in high-demand fields in this state. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 49 and Title 50.

SB 2340: TennCare - As introduced, requires the bureau to reimburse certain public or private ground-based ambulance services that bill for transports at a rate not less than 67.5 percent of the federal medicare program's allowable charge for participating providers for emergency services and 100 percent of the federal medicare program's allowable charge for participating providers for nonemergency services. - Amends TCA Title 71.
