Defines what a transportation protection agreement for human remains is. Provides that services and merchandise offered under a transportation protection agreement are not funeral merchandise, funeral services, prearrangement sales or a prearrangement sales contract. Requires a landlord of publicly supported housing to provide all applicants and new tenants notice of when the affordability restrictions may be terminated. Becomes operative January 1, 2026. Extends from 20 months to 30 months the minimum notice landlords must give existing tenants regarding expiring affordability restrictions. Requires the Housing and Community Services Department to adopt rules by December 1, 2025, that prescribe the form of the notice and translations. Applies to properties with restrictions ending on or after July 1, 2028. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Directs county treasurers and presiding judges of judicial districts to prepare and submit certain financial reports regarding conciliation and mediation accounts. Authorizes a county governing body to increase fees for issuances of marriage licenses and registrations of Declarations of Domestic Partnership. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
] [ Permits the owner of a self-service storage facility to advertise or publish a notice of sale of personal property that is subject to a lien once on a publicly accessible website that regularly advertises or offers personal property for auction or sale. ] Changes from $300 to $1,000 the threshold value above which an owner of a self-service storage facility must publish a notice of sale for personal property that is subject to a lien for unpaid rent, labor, materials or other services related to storing the personal property.
Repeals a license issued by the Oregon Medical Board to certain physicians licensed to practice in other jurisdictions. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
