Exempts individuals authorized to work as nurses under multistate licensure privilege from requirement to obtain license from board and from restrictions on use of titles. Allows board to use moneys to meet financial obligations imposed on State of Oregon as result of participation in compact. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Modifies estate tax brackets to provide additional estate tax exclusion of $1 million. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Requires district school board or higher education governing board that adopts policy limiting possession of firearms by concealed handgun licensees on school grounds to install metal detectors at entrances to buildings subject to policy.
Provides that evidence of defendant's commission of other sexual offenses is admissible if relevant in criminal action in which defendant is accused of sexual offense. Provides that evidence of defendant's commission of other crimes constituting domestic violence is admissible if relevant in criminal action in which defendant is accused of crime constituting domestic violence. Eliminates provision providing that evidence of all prior bad acts is admissible if relevant in criminal action.

Creates crime of controlled substances homicide. Punishes by maximum of 10 years' imprisonment, $250,000 fine, or both. Takes effect only if constitutional amendment proposed by House Joint Resolution 27 (2023) is approved by people at regular general election held in November 2024. Takes effect on effective date of constitutional amendment proposed by House Joint Resolution 27 (2023).
