SB 664: Relating to instruction in public schools about genocide.

Requires school districts to provide instruction about Holocaust and genocide beginning with 2020-2021 school year . Directs Department of Education to provide technical assistance to school districts for instruction. Requires State Board of Education to develop academic content standards for Holocaust and genocide studies. Requires school districts to provide instruction based on standards beginning with 2025-2026 school year. Takes effect July 1, 2020. ].

Extends sunset for exemption from income or corporate excise taxes of capital gains from sale of manufactured dwelling park to certain entities. SB 684: Relating to actions with respect to a breach of security that involves personal information.

Specifies requirements for covered entities that own, license, maintain, store, manage, collect, process, acquire or otherwise possess personal information, and for vendors that provide services to covered entities, to notify consumers of breach of security. Specifies exemptions for certain covered entities that are subject to other laws governing protections and disclosures.

HB 2457: Relating to educators in the Eastern Oregon Border Economic Development Region; and declaring an emergency.

Directs Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, Department of Education and Office of Child Care to make specified evaluations to increase number of educators in Eastern Oregon Border Economic Development Region who are available to teach courses in secondary math and science and in career and technical education programs. Directs commission, department and office to submit report to interim committee of Legislative Assembly no later than September 15, 2020 ] 2024 . Sunsets December 31, 2020 ] 2024 . Declares emergency, effective on passage.
