HB 3261: Relating to law enforcement interviews of persons under 18 years of age.

Modifies requirement to record peace officer's ] interview with person under 18 years of age to include custodial interviews conducted inside law enforcement facility by peace officer, school resource officer or special campus security officer of investigations into misdemeanors, felonies and acts that, if committed by adult, would constitute crimes and require recorded interviews whenever person under 18 years of age would reasonably believe person is in custody ] misdemeanors or felonies . Requires recording of custodial interviews with person under 18 years of age conducted outside of law enforcement facility if officer is wearing video camera. Creates exceptions.

SB 185: Relating to the Master Settlement Agreement; and declaring an emergency.

Prohibits person licensed to distribute cigarettes or tobacco products from affixing Oregon tax stamps or purchasing untaxed roll-your-own tobacco unless person certifies to Attorney General that cigarettes or tobacco was purchased directly from manufacturer or importer. Allows tobacco product manufacturer that elects to make payments to qualified escrow fund to assign moneys in qualified escrow fund to state. Declares emergency, effective on passage.

HB 3007: Relating to estates.

Modifies provisions relating to small estates. Clarifies that execution of bargain and sale deed does not place personal representative of estate in chain of title to property conveyed, except under certain circumstances. Clarifies procedure for opening and examination of contents of safe deposit box of decedent.

SB 834: Relating to licensees of the Oregon Board of Dentistry.

Provides that expression of regret or apology made by or on behalf of person licensed by Oregon Board of Dentistry does not constitute admission of liability in civil action and that person who makes expression may not be examined with respect to expression.

HB 2076: Relating to aquatic invasive species.

Requires boat operators to remove or open devices used to drain water from boat before transporting boat within this state. Provides exceptions. Punishes failure to comply by maximum fine of $250. Requires person to cooperate with ordered decontamination process at aquatic invasive species check station. Punishes failure to cooperate with ordered decontamination process by maximum fine of $250. Authorizes peace officer to stop person transporting recreational or commercial watercraft and require person to drive to open aquatic invasive species check station within five miles of stop if peace officer has probable cause that person failed to stop at check station. Punishes failure to comply with peace officer's request by maximum of 30 days' imprisonment, $1,250 fine, or both.

SB 576: Relating to campus security officers; and declaring an emergency.

Imposes certain requirements related to private security providers who contract with or are employed by institutions of higher education to provide private security services on campus and special campus security officers commissioned by governing boards of public universities. Provides that private security professionals who provide private security services on campus and special campus security officers commissioned by governing board of public university do not have stop and frisk authority. Exempts retired member of Public Employees Retirement System from limitations on reemployment if member is reemployed by public university as special campus security officer or security officer for community college . Declares emergency, effective on passage.

SB 127: Relating to licensed health care providers.

Requires physician assistants who practice medicine full-time to receive eight hours of supervision each month. Requires physician assistants who practice medicine less than full-time to receive supervision on prorated basis. ] Prohibits insurer offering health benefit plan from denying or discounting reimbursement for certain primary care or specialty service to certain licensed health care providers. ] Takes effect on July 1, 2019. ] Changes term "nurse midwife nurse practitioner" to "nurse practitioner specializing in nurse midwifery."
