Presidential rights; declaring, enacting, and confirming that present and past presidents of the United States are vested with voting rights; effective date.

HB 2292 declares that current and former U.S. presidents have the right to register and vote in all Oklahoma elections (federal, state, county, and municipal), regardless of actions taken by other states. It also grants them the right to possess firearms and carry handguns in Oklahoma, and exempts them from criminal prosecution for alleged violations of a specific Oklahoma firearm law (Section 1283 of Title 21). The bill would take effect on November 1, 2025, and applies broadly to all presidents without exception.
