HB 2719 updates Oklahoma's penalties for prostitution-related offenses. It increases fines for misdemeanor prostitution convictions to $2,500 for the first offense, $5,000 for the second, and $7,500 for subsequent offenses. The bill adds a felony provision for engaging in prostitution while knowingly infected with HIV, punishable by up to five years in prison. It also maintains existing felony penalties for child prostitution and offenses near schools/churches. The changes take effect November 1, 2025.
