Schools; authorizing the State Board of Education to assist in establishing community school pilot projects; effective date.

HB 1467 authorizes Oklahoma's State Board of Education to help school districts establish community school pilot projects. These projects, run collaboratively by families, educators, and community groups, must provide tailored services before, during, and after school. The bill requires pilot plans to include a trained coordinator (from an Oklahoma nonprofit), a needs assessment involving parents, teachers, students, and community leaders, and ongoing stakeholder engagement. Projects may also integrate strengthened curriculum, expanded learning opportunities, and wraparound student supports. The bill takes effect November 1, 2025.
