This bill requires undocumented immigrants to meet specific health requirements to access certain state benefits, including medical assistance, family aid, and disability support. To qualify, individuals must receive required vaccinations (like measles, flu, and COVID-19) and pass screenings for communicable diseases (such as TB, syphilis, and gonorrhea), unless medically inappropriate or ongoing treatment is underway. Exceptions apply if someone is receiving appropriate treatment for a positive screening result. The law applies to programs under New York's social services chapter and takes effect January 1 following enactment.
