A 3924: Requires public officers and bodies to provide interpreters and assistive listening devices for the hearing impaired at public hearings under certain conditions

Requires public officers and public bodies to make reasonable efforts to provide qualified interpreters at no charge for the hearing impaired at public meetings and hearings upon written request to the public officer responsible for the siting of such hearing; requires installation and use of assistive listening devices.

S 1068: Relates to evidence of lost earnings or impaired earning capacity

Prohibits evidence concerning opinions, estimations, measures, or calculations of damages for lost earnings or impaired earning capacity resulting from personal injury or wrongful death shall not be reduced based on race, creed, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, sex, familial status, marital status, or status as a victim of domestic violence.

S 7180: Prohibits the dissemination of an image of a crime victim by public servants

Creates the crime of dissemination of an image of a crime victim; makes a person guilty of such crime where the person is a public servant and, while in the course of the public servant's official duties, records a still image or motion picture of a crime victim and broadcasts or publishes such images or motion pictures outside of the course of conduct of the public servant's official duties; makes such crime a class A misdemeanor.
