This bill allows the village of Clayton to let a specific police officer named Joshua David join a special twenty-year retirement plan that he previously missed. To do this, the village must agree to pay the extra costs associated with his past service, which can be spread out over five years. The officer then has eighteen months to officially sign up for these benefits, and the village must confirm within a year that his earlier absence from the plan was not due to his own negligence.
