This bill updates the rules for displaying safe boater education certificates in New Hampshire to include electronic versions. It requires anyone operating a motorized vessel over 25 horsepower on public waters to carry either a physical copy or an electronic version, such as a photo on a mobile device. Boat operators must still be able to show this certificate to a marine patrol officer when asked. The law officially took effect on September 1, 2024.
