This bill allows wine manufacturers who already hold a production license to optionally apply for an on-premises license, enabling them to sell and serve alcohol directly at their production facilities or retail locations. The decision to issue these additional licenses remains entirely at the discretion of the state commission, and the new licenses will carry the same annual fees as other existing licenses. The law takes effect 60 days after it is passed, giving manufacturers time to prepare for any potential changes in their business operations.
