Social Security Caregiver Credit Act of 2021 This bill credits certain individuals who provide at least 80 hours of care per month to dependent relatives without monetary compensation with up to five years of deemed wages (determined by a specified formula) for purposes of determining their Social Security benefit amounts. However, if an individual is otherwise entitled to a larger benefit amount, this provision shall not apply.
Guarding Readiness Resources Act of 2021 This bill modifies the treatment of funds received by the National Guard Bureau as a reimbursement from a state or other U.S. territory (e.g., Guam) for the use of military property. Specifically, the funds must be credited to (1) the appropriation, fund, or account used in incurring the obligation; or (2) an appropriation, fund, or account currently available for the purposes of which the expenditures were made. Such funds must be treated as a reprogramming request and may only be obligated or disbursed after the National Guard Bureau submits a written request and receives authorization from Congress. The National Guard Bureau must annually submit an account of the use of funds disaggregated by appropriation and subactivity group.
National Guard and Reserve Incentive Pay Parity Act This bill requires the military department concerned to pay members of the reserve components a special bonus or incentive pay in the same monthly amount that is paid to members in the regular component of the service for performing comparable work requiring comparable skills.
Sustainable Investment Policies Act of 2021 This bill requires investment advisers to establish and follow a sustainable investment policy, including policies relating to the corporate governance practices, labor and human rights practices, and the environmental risks of the entities receiving investments.
Retirees Sustainable Investment Opportunities Act of 2021 This bill requires a retirement or employee benefit plan that is regulated under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to disclose whether it has adopted a sustainable investment policy. A sustainable investment policy must address considerations relating to corporate governance practices, labor and human rights practices, and the environmental risks posed by the entities receiving investments.
World War II Pacific War Heroes Congressional Gold Medal Act This bill provides for the award of a single Congressional Gold Medal to the men and women of the United States military and merchant marine, as well as citizen and noncitizen civilians who fought with the U.S. military and were surrendered, captured, or abandoned to become prisoners of war of Imperial Japan during World War II, in recognition of their dedicated and vital service during World War II.
United States Army Rangers Veterans of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act This bill provides for the award of a single Congressional Gold Medal to the U.S. Army Rangers Veterans of World War II in recognition of their dedicated service during World War II.
