FLAGS – Amends existing law to provide that a governmental entity shall only display certain flags.

This Idaho bill (H 96) restricts which flags governmental entities like state agencies, counties, and cities can display on their property. It requires these entities to display only specific flags: the U.S. flag, their own government's flag, other U.S. state flags, military branch flags, the POW/MIA flag, tribal flags, flags from other countries for special occasions, and Idaho school/university flags. The law excludes schools, colleges, and universities from these display rules. It also authorizes the Division of Veterans Services to create protocols for flag placement on state property.
