HB 131: RELATING TO HEMP.

Legalizes hemp to the extent legalized under federal law. Requires the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture to prepare and submit a proposed state plan to monitor and regulate hemp production, including commercial production and research, to the federal Secretary of Agriculture pursuant to section 297B of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946, as amended. Authorizes the Department of Agriculture to monitor and regulate hemp production. Allows Industrial Hemp Pilot Project licensee to utilize hemp genetics. Requires reports to the Governor and Legislature. Effective 9/22/2050. (HB131 HD2)

HB 1467: RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES.

Changes the assessment of the state fuel tax from a specified amount per gallon to the greater of a specified amount per gallon or an unspecified percentage of the wholesale price per gallon to the retailer. Subjects biodiesel oil to the same tax rates and reporting requirements as diesel oil. (HB1467 HD1)

HB 632: RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Exempts the sales of mobility enhancing equipment sold by prescription, prosthetic devices, prescription drugs sold pursuant to a prescription, diabetic supplies, medical oxygen, human blood and its derivatives, and durable medical equipment, from the general excise tax for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2018. Amends the definitions of "prosthetic device" and "prescription drugs". (HB632 HD1)
