SB 371: RELATING TO SCHOOLS.

Establishes a Workforce Readiness Program within the Department of Education to allow students to graduate from an extended high school enrollment with an industry-recognized associate's degree to complement the student's high school diploma. Appropriates moneys to develop and implement the program, including (2.0) FTE Educational Specialist II staff positions and (7.0) FTE District Office Teachers. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

SB 1043: RELATING TO HEALTH CARE.

SB 1344: RELATING TO DEBT.

Prohibits the imposition of restrictions on a person's ability to obtain or renew a driver's license or to register, renew the registration of, or transfer or receive title to a motor vehicle, as a consequence of unpaid monetary obligations. Does not affect driver's license suspensions related to excessive speeding, lack of motor vehicle insurance, or non-compliance with a child support order. (SD1)

SB 819: RELATING TO PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Authorizes and establishes procedures and criteria for prescriptive authority for clinical psychologists who meet specific education, training, and registration requirements. Requires the Board of Psychology to accept applications for prescriptive authority privilege beginning 7/1/2022. Requires the Board of Psychology to report to the Legislature prior to the Regular Session of 2021. Sunsets on 8/31/2025. Effective 7/1/2050. (SB819 HD1)

SB 997: RELATING TO THE STADIUM AUTHORITY.

Establishes the Stadium Development District. Requires HCDA to facilitate the development of all state property within the District. Appropriates funds and authorizes the issuance of reimbursable general obligation bonds to establish and develop the District. Authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds to build a new stadium. (SB997 HD1)

HB 1151: RELATING TO COMMERCIAL OCEAN RECREATION.

Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to adopt rules pursuant to Chapter 91, HRS, to require certain safety measures for commercial ocean operators that take customers into state waters for activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and surfing lessons. (HB1151 HD1)

SB 818: RELATING TO SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Establishes licensure requirements for school psychologists to be administered by the Hawaii teacher standards board. Prohibits private practice by school psychologists. Amends the name of the Hawaii teacher standards board to the Hawaii teacher standards and school psychologists board and amends the board's composition to include two school psychologists. Specifies that school psychologists who are employed by an educational institution and practice only within a school setting shall be exempt from licensure under chapter 465, Hawaii Revised Statutes. Requires the board to report to legislature. Sunsets 7/1/2026. (SB818 HD1)

HB 1452: RELATING TO CIVIL LEGAL SERVICES.

Establishes and appropriates funds for the Hawaii Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable to facilitate cooperation between various state agencies regarding civil legal services and access to justice.
