HB 1503: RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Requires the Department of Agriculture to establish a 2-year agricultural theft and vandalism pilot project to examine the effectiveness of prosecuting agricultural theft and agricultural vandalism cases in the County of Hawaii. Appropriates funds for the pilot project, including the hiring of two enforcement officer positions. (SD1)

HB 461: RELATING TO SEA LEVEL RISE.

Requires the Hawaii Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commission to conduct certain activities to address the impacts of sea level rise and report to the Legislature before the 2021 Regular Session. SB 1121: RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.

Requires the Department of Health to establish a working group to examine and advise on amendments that can be made to the statutory description of the Department's powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities. Authorizes the working group to evaluate the health impact assessment tool. Appropriates funds to support the activities of the working group. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

SB 1277: RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION.

Amends the law relating to registration renewals and initial registrations of motor carrier vehicles of any motor carrier who has an outstanding federal out-of-service order. Adds a definition for "out-of-service order". (SB1277 HD1)

HB 1402: RELATING TO THE COMMUNITY-BASED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

Establishes the micro enterprise assistance program on Hawaiian home lands revolving fund to provide grants and loans through the implementation of the micro enterprise assistance program to qualified native Hawaiians, native Hawaiian-controlled homestead associations, and homestead association community development corporations. HB 1008: RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND MANAGED COMPETITION.

Transfers the Office of Collective Bargaining and related organizational functions, including the Chief Negotiator position, from the Office of the Governor to DHRD. Renames the Office of Collective Bargaining and Managed Competition to the Office of Collective Bargaining. Eliminates references to managed competition in section 89A. Takes effect 1/1/2051. (SD1)
