SB 1229: RELATING TO THE DWELLING UNIT REVOLVING FUND.

Extends the Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund Equity Pilot Program to 6/30/2030. Gives preference to for-sale housing development projects developed under governmental assistance programs approved by the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

SB 828: RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION MEDICAL BENEFITS.

Expands workers' compensation medical benefits for firefighters to include coverage for adenocarcinoma or mesothelioma of the respiratory system; cancer of the buccal cavity, colon, pharynx, and thyroid; and malignant melanoma. Specifies that an employer may prove that the cancer or disease was not associated with the firefighting duties to deny medical benefits under workers' compensation law. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

HB 1037: RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT COST ITEMS.

Provides appropriations for collective bargaining cost items for the members of bargaining unit (11) and their excluded counterparts, including the cost of salary adjustments negotiated between the State and the bargaining unit representative for fiscal biennium 2025-2027. SB 1465: RELATING TO PASS-THROUGH ENTITY TAXATION.

For taxable years beginning after 12/31/2024, requires all qualified members claiming a credit for pass-through entity taxation to adjust their income to include the qualified member's share of taxes paid by an electing pass-through entity. Effective July 1, 3000. (HD1)

HB 1295: RELATING TO CLEAN ENERGY.

Clarifies an association board's authority with respect to calling electronic meetings, electronic voting, and mail voting.
