SB 1316: RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Establishes open voting and educational requirements for condominium association and board members. Requires courts to issue a judgment against a party refusing to participate in the mediation process. Requires certain employees of a managing agent to be licensed in accordance with requirements established by the real estate commission.

SB 1113: RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

Requires DCCA in consultation with Comptroller to develop strategies for repair and maintenance of Sunset Memorial Park in Pearl City, Oahu. Authorizes DCCA to access the Sunset Memorial Trust Fund. Provides limited liability for persons maintaining or repairing cemetery grounds. Requires report to Legislature.

SB 1063: RELATING TO NATIVE HAWAIIAN COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT.

Reallocates $1,000,000 from the transient accommodations tax revenues for the operation of a Hawaiian center and the museum of Hawaiian music and dance at the Hawaii convention center to improving community infrastructure of Native Hawaiian communities, including parks and open spaces in the three predominantly Native Hawaiian communities of Waianae, Waimanalo, and Molokai; provided that the improvements include creating safe space for health promotion activities and physical activity, and creating a Native Hawaiian sense of place.

HB 1511: RELATING TO HEALTH.

Specifies license, relicense, certification, and recertification fees for community-based licensed care homes and facilities and case managers under the Department of Health. Stipulates that the fees be deposited into the general fund.

SB 1187: RELATING TO CLEAN TRANSPORTATION.

Establishes a clean transportation fee to be paid from a tax on fuel sales. Establishes the zero emissions vehicle infrastructure special fund to be funded by a percentage of the clean transportation fee for the purpose of expediting the development of electric charging and hydrogen fueling infrastructure throughout the State to enable and promote the use of zero emissions vehicles. Establishes the zero emissions vehicle rebate special fund to provide rebates for the purchase of new zero emissions vehicles within the State so long as funds are available.

HB 226: RELATING TO THE LANDLORD TENANT CODE.

Eliminates the five day notification requirement for the eviction of a tenant for delinquent rent. Allows a landlord to prohibit access to a dwelling unit, including by changing the locks to the dwelling unit, upon court awarding possession of the unit. Allows a landlord to dispose of the tenant's personal property.
